Barack Obama is a no good crook…just like the rest of them.

The Shillary attack machine is in full swing. First it was the Wahhabi School angle. When that wouldn’t stick, we get this. By the time the Clinton’s are done with Obama, he’ll be nothing more than a stain on the pavement…

Thanks for playing Barack! All runner ups will receive a years supply of ‘Rice-O-Roni’, the San Francisco treat, and a copy of our home game.

Less than two months after ascending to the U.S. Senate, Barack Obama bought more than $50,000 worth of stock in two speculative companies whose major investors included some of his biggest political donors, the NYT will splash on Wednesday Page Ones.

The paper claims, according to newsroom sources: One of the companies was a biotech concern that was starting to develop a drug to treat avian flu. In March 2005, two weeks after buying about $5,000 of its shares, Obama took the lead in a legislative push for more federal spending to battle the disease.

The paper's Mike McIntire and Chris Drew get front placement [side by side with Libby Coverage] for details of Obama's most recent financial disclosure:

It shows that he bought more than $50,000 in stock in a satellite communications business whose principal backers include four friends and donors who had raised more than $150,000 for his political committees.

A spokesman for Obama says the senator did not know that he had invested in either company.

  3. Chin…if you are going to do a smear job, you should do your homework first. According to even the most conservative press reports, “his stock broker neither solicited his advice on investments nor consulted him when trades were made. As a result, according to Burton, Obama was unaware that the stocks had been purchased and when he found out that he owned them in the fall of 2005 he immediately divested himself of the stocks at a financial loss.”

Nice try, better luck next time. I sure there will be many attempts.

  4. Never stopped the persecution of Dick Cheney, Martha Stewart, blah blah blah. And my commentary had nothing to do with the voracity of the story. It revolved around the tactic of the competition (read Shillary and Slick Willie) in outing the story to discredit Obama. Two favors, flamer. (1) read critically and address the actual point. (2) Drop the intellectual authority schtick. If you think you hang, than bring it to out forums and test your metal. Otherwise, you’ll just be laughed at. Thanks. -Chin

What you fail to notice is that his poll numbers keep going up during the “attack machines” attacks, while hers keep going down…

I think your barking at the wrong puddle on the sidewalk.
